I recently received the following image scan and statement from a Cranbrook classmate about a long forgotten project I did in 1995 "This piece was part of an auction at the American Institute of Design (AIGA) in New York, where a select group of designers were invited to create designs under the theme, “Valentine’s Day.” All funds collected were donated back to the organization. Fellow colleague and friend, Jan Uretsky, and I bid on your work. Jan won, and it hung in his office until he died this past spring, 2016. Jan left it for me, along with boxes of design books. The books have been going to Pratt students with an exlibris glued into each inside front cover dedicated to Jan. Your piece now hangs on my wall."
