October wanes towards Halloween and Dia de los Muertos
A little painting purchased from an antique store many years ago. A unique find with no idea as to the time or place or who, only an intriguing juxtaposition of two formal elements that seem to have no discernible relationship. And also some funky brushwork if you look closely !
My exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art closes on Sunday October 29th after a 7 month run. It’s been an honor. Thanks all !
